What is the insured bet?

Insurance is a way to protect yourself if the dealer has Blackjack. This guaranteed bet is completely independent of the main bet.

Insured bets pay 2: 1 and are only available if the dealer card is an Ace. When this happens, you will automatically be asked if you want to add insurance to your play.

By accepting the safe bet, half of your bet will be placed on the insured table space.
